Store Displays and Other Big Stuff !

I like the BIG stuff ! Any Ultraman toy I can find..the bigger the better ! So naturally, when I was offered a Giant Ultra Jack bust...I said "yes!!". But, I had no idea what I had gotten myself into. I was given the dimensions of the bust but until I saw the gigantic crate dropped off into my garage..I suddenly realized this truely was a GIANT bust !

Once I had it on display I was hooked.. I had to track down as many store display figures as possible. These are perhaps, THE hardest items to not only find, but afford.

All of the items were meant only to be used by stores selling Ultraman toys .These displays were also found in public playgrounds, as in the case of the childrens coin op. rides . They certainly were not sold to the public..besides, who in japan could possibly keep such large items, when space is so precious.

Three views of the gigantic Jack Bust. 42" inches tall by 24" deep by 27" inches wide. This was used as a candy dispensing figure. Coins were put into the leg portion and in the opposite leg a plastic ball containing candy and a toy would drop down. Over all size of the figure was over 6 feet tall . Probably made by Takutoku Toys for stores, around 1971. Made of Fiberglass. Note the back panel, for refilling toys into body portion.

Ultra Jack childs ride, 1972. This coin opearated ride could fit one child on it's back and would rock back and forth. 33" tall by 40" long. Fiberglass. Unknown maker.

Ultra Ace childs ride , 1973. like the Jack ride above, was part of a coin opearated ride. This one is known as a "two-seater". Two children can fit on his back, that's why the body and legs are longer. Fiberglass. 19" inches tall by 53" inches long

Hard to find tin Bullmark sign. Was made to hold bagged vinyl figures, off of "J" hooks at the bottom of the sign.

9-3/4" inches tall by 28" inches long.
